Conversion Made Easy with Analog Integration

eVerge™ two-way communication radios operate in both analog and digital modes. They can also be used with any existing analog two-way radios.

Do Digital Right: Stay Compatible and Maximise Efficiency

eVerge™ digital radios that operate with the Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) protocol are compatible with more than 74% of the digital radios deployed worldwide. Thanks to greater spectrum and power efficiency, eVerge™ TDMA digital radio systems can now support twice as many talking groups and calls without more licensing costs, thus lowering total equipment costs, as compared with those operating with FDMA protocol.

Clear Radio Call Quality

Digital two-way radios eliminate noise and static from voice transmission to deliver only the intended voice message crisply and clearly. For enhanced voice quality, eVerge™ digital radios come with the AMBE+2™ vocoder.

Better Message Control and Privacy

Control whom you call and who gets your message in digital mode. eVerge™ two-way radios come with unique IDs to enable users to select the recipients of the call or message.

Better Coverage and Connection Monitoring with ARTS II™

Get ultra-clear audio right up to the edge of the transmit range. And, with Vertex Standard’s exclusive Auto-Range Transpond System (ARTS II™), you will always know if you are in or out of range with another ARTS II™-equipped radio.

Worker Safety Features

As with all Vertex Standard mobile radios, eVerge™ mobile radios include Emergency alert for enhanced driver safety.

Operators can activate the Lone Worker function when leaving equipment or a vehicle temporarily. If a problem arises while away, the radio switches to Emergency mode to alert help.

Option Board Expandable for Additional Applications

The EVX-5400 series is designed for future feature expansion and the support of third-party application developments, such as location tracking with GPS, rolling code encryption, etc.
